In response to huge demand, Bill Kenwright will be presenting a new theatrical season to commence 17 November.
The season opens with Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s masterpiece Jesus Christ Superstar, the ground-breaking concept rock opera which tells the story of the last seven days of the life of Christ. Next is the thriller And Then There Were None – recently voted ‘world’s favourite Agatha Christie’ – which sees 10 strangers lured to a remote island only to mysteriously die, one by one. Something more heart-warming follows – a new production of The Sound Of Music, which promises to enchant the young and the young at heart with, all of their ‘Favorite Things’.
Family favourites Dr Seuss’ The Cat In The Hat, and, Miracle on 34th Street, The Musical are followed by something to get you ‘In The Mood’ for the festive season:Tommy Steele in The Glenn Miller Story, featuring a spectacular 16 piece orchestra plus sensational performers and dazzling choreography, led by London Palladium’s most successful ever star. And, by huge popular demand, a musical favourite of theatregoers everywhere, Willy Russell’s multi-award winning Blood Brothers returns to Peterborough.
On 20th December ‘Christmas Magic’ will include Peterborough Male Voice Choir with Peterborough Voices, Youth Choir and Festival Orchestra under the direction of Will Prideaux.
In response to customer feedback, there will be no additional booking fees to pay on top of the stated ticket prices, and a range of concessions and discounts will be available.
